Whyalla Secondary College is a state-of-the-art secondary school bringing together the former Edward John Eyre High School, Whyalla High School and Stuart High School into one modern learning community. Located on Nicolson Avenue between Adelaide University and TAFE SA, the school forms part of Whyalla’s education precinct, creating strong pathways to further education, training and employment.

Purpose-built with a $100 million dollar investment, the college accommodates up to 1500 students in years 7 to 12, with 48 inclusive places for students with disability. The three-storey campus was designed by Cox Architecture in collaboration with Thomson Rossi, integrating the history and traditions of the existing high schools while creating its own sense of identity and belonging that will embrace the whole community.

The site features contemporary learning environments with a strong STEM focus, flexible indoor and outdoor learning spaces, a double-court gymnasium, extensive sporting facilities and a performing arts theatre designed for community and use outside of school hours.
