๐ Welcome Back to Term 3! ๐
We hope everyone had a safe, relaxing and well-deserved break.
As we begin a new term, we`re looking forward to learning, growth and opportunities for our students. Whether it`s in the classroom, on the sporting field, through the arts, or at our many college events, there`s plenty to look forward to this term.
A reminder that classes resume today, and we encourage all students to arrive on time, ready to learn and make the most of the term ahead.
We can`t wait to see what Term 3 has in store. Welcome back, and here`s to a fantastic term together! ๐
๐ Semester 1 Reports Now Available Online ๐
Families are advised that Semester 1 reports are now available to view through the Daymap Parent Portal.
We encourage parents and caregivers to take the time to review their child`s report, celebrate their achievements, and discuss their learning progress throughout the first semester.
If you experience any difficulties accessing the Parent Portal, please contact the college for assistance.

๐ That`s a Wrap for Term 2! ๐
As Term 2 comes to a close, we`d like to thank our students, families and staff for another fantastic term of learning, growth and achievement.
๐ A reminder that students will be dismissed today at 1:30pm.
The same end-of-term process applies as in previous terms:
โข There is no lunch break today.
โข Year 7โ10 students will return to Care Group at 1:20pm for the final 10 minutes of the day.
โข Year 11โ12 students will remain in Lesson 4 for the final 10 minutes before dismissal.
We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved, safe and relaxing holiday break. Whether you`re spending time with family and friends or simply taking the opportunity to recharge, we hope you make the most of the holidays.
We look forward to welcoming all students back for Term 3 refreshed and ready for another exciting term of learning.

๐ Career Roadshow Inspires Future Pathways! ๐
Earlier this Term, students from Years 7โ12 had the opportunity to attend the Career Roadshow, where they explored a wide range of exciting career pathways and future opportunities.
The event provided students with valuable insights into different industries, training options, apprenticeships, tertiary education pathways, and career possibilities available to them after school. Students were able to speak directly with industry representatives, ask questions, and learn about the skills and qualifications needed for a variety of professions.
Experiences like these help our students make informed decisions about their future, broaden their understanding of the many pathways available, and inspire them to start thinking about their career goals.
A big thank you to all the exhibitors and organisations who attended and shared their knowledge with our students. We hope the day sparked new ideas and ambitions for the future! ๐
๐ A Message for Our Spencer Gulf Families
Unfortunately, due to the forecast weather conditions, today`s Spencer Gulf Cuttlefish Excursion has been cancelled.
We know this is disappointing for our students, who were looking forward to this unique experience, but the safety of our students and staff is always our priority.
Thank you to our families for your understanding and ongoing support. We appreciate your flexibility and will share any updates if they become available.
Recently Andy Packer from Slingsby Theatre visited to run a shadow workshop with Performing Arts students from year 9 to year 12. Here students explored how to create an effective story structure, utilise narration, design and create shadow puppets, and explore the use of light and darkness within performance. Each group created a 30 second piece of theatre and performed to their peers, in a supportive and encouraging environment. We look forward to seeing how students use these techniques in their own work going forward.
