Tailored Learning is designed for students in years 8-12+, who may benefit from additional supports and alternative learning structures to support engagement in learning and future pathways. Tailored Learning provides flexible ways to support your child in learning and overcoming barriers, providing transition pathways, additionally helping young people work out a future pathway for their life.

Tailored Learning provides personalised pathways and support for students with diverse learning, wellbeing and engagement needs. Through targeted interventions, case management and strong partnerships with families, staff and external agencies, Tailored Learning helps remove barriers and create pathways for success.

Flexible Learning, part of the Tailored Learning program, offers smaller classes, personalised teaching, practical learning and enhanced wellbeing support. Providing the right environment for students to reconnect with learning, build confidence, strengthen relationships and achieve meaningful outcomes while maintaining high expectations.

Tailored/Flexible Learning aims to re-engage students in their education with individualised support and a strong focus on student voice. These programs have a strong focus on building confidence, creating pathways and providing meaningful learning experiences both inside and outside of the classroom. Learning can happen in different places such as our Flexible Learning Centre, community sites, other registered training organisations (RTOs) or online.

Each student is partnered with their own case manager who helps them develop what they want to do with their life and work towards practical solutions for any difficulties they are experiencing.
