Whyalla Secondary College recently hosted the Western Areas Secondary Schools Athletics Carnival (WASSAC). The day was packed full of amazing athletic efforts both on the track and the field. All students involved in the event were exceptional with both behaviour and effort. Far West A took the day out for the WASSAC Shield and the Handicap Shield. Whyalla had many great individual efforts with Noah being runner up age level champion and Kaiden beating the hurdles record for his age group. All students should be proud of their efforts. A massive thanks to all the local organisations that supported the event leading up to it and on the day. Well done to all staff members who ensured the day ran smoothly.
