Governance
Governing Council Committee
Parent participation is an important factor in community building and of tremendous benefit to the educational outcomes and welfare of our students. As a parent/caregiver, you can assist with this by becoming a member of Governing Council (GC) and/or one of its subcommittees.
The role of a Governing Council member is to provide advice to the Principal with the goal of strengthening and supporting education in the community. Governing Council meetings are held twice a term.
Whyalla Secondary College is proud to announce our governing council committee. It is great to have such a large and diverse group of members on our governing council. Whyalla Secondary College is very grateful for the input and support in the running and management of the college.
