I am the leader of the Whyalla SAASTA program and have a passion for educating others on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and history. I also teach Senior Aboriginal Studies and Recreational HPE. In 2024 I am most excited about working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to learn about culture and history, and see these students grow into young leaders. Outside of school I love spending time with my fiancé Kelsey and my daughter Marley. We love going to the beach and camping. I also love everything sport and have a passion for football, cricket, golf, surfing and motor racing. I look forward to working with all students to see them achieve their goals.

Hi I’m Jeff Croft (Barngarla) the ASETO for the Year 7/8s in 2024. This is my 6th year as an ASETO after working for three years at Eyre High School. Previous to working in schools, I worked as an Aboriginal Health Worker, Youth Worker and Youth Health Worker working at Nunyara Aboriginal Health Service, Plaza Youth Centre and the Whyalla Hospital. My family is Barngarla and we have a rich history around the Whyalla surrounds and large area of the Eastern Eyre Peninsula. I’m looking forward to working with our students and families this year to get the best out of them during their schooling this year.
