Hi, my name is Justin Pool and I am the SWD and inclusion leader for 2024. I will be teaching Care Group, Modified English and Integrated Studies in Spencer Gulf. All of my teaching has occurred in country locations across the Eyre Peninsula. I am originally from the Barossa Valley but love living by the beach. I have three dachshunds and a beagle that love people and going for walks. Hello, my name is Brittany Dunchue and I am the Intervention Leader for 2024 and will be teaching Universal Reasoning, Exploring Identities and Futures, Research Project and Integrated in Spencer Gulf. This is my second-year teaching at Whyalla Secondary College and my first-year teaching in Spencer Gulf. I have had the privilege of teaching in the country for the past four years at Kadina Memorial School, Peterborough High School and now Whyalla Secondary College. I will be reaching out to parents via Daymap, email and phone regularly this year. I am also encouraging parents to contact me with any concerns. Outside of the college, I am excited to be in Whyalla living with my partner and have enjoyed working on our new house together, particularly our garden where we can play with our puppy. Hi, my name is Chloe (Miss Rushton) I started teaching in Whyalla in 2022 with the Year 8’s and Year 11’s. The subjects I am teaching this year are Year 7 Literacy and numeracy for life, Spencer Gulf Global Perspectives, Life skills and Integrated. I am passionate about geography, reading, music and travel. I will always provide students with many learning opportunities to achieve their goals.

Hello. My name is Kylee Seabrook.  This is my first year at Whyalla Secondary College and I am excited to be teaching Year 7 HASS at the college.  I have a background in History, Geography and Wellbeing and spent the past 8 years teaching in rural and remote schools in the NSW Riverina district.  I am committed to offering students enriching learning opportunities that prioritise their wellbeing, aiming to bolster their overall development and success.  In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the local area, spending time with family and friends and engaging in volunteer work with animal welfare organisations.  I am excited to be a part of the team at Whyalla Secondary College and look forward to an amazing 2024.
