Greetings WSC families. I am Robert Schofield and I have been teaching in Whyalla since 2010, beginning at Whyalla High School. I teach Design and Technology across years 8 to 12, focussing on wood technology and advancing technology. Outside of school I have been involved with the GFG student program since it began in 2018 along with touch football and, until recently gymnastics. I wear the dual hat of teacher and parent with daughters in year 10 and Uni. In my free time I collect and paint miniatures for tabletop gaming along with playing computer games.

Bethany Hodgkinson

Email: Bethany.Hodgkinson557@schools.sa.edu.au
My name is Bethany Hodgkinson, I currently teach Food Technology and Child Studies across various years in the school. This year will mark the 9th year of my teaching journey and 5th year teaching in Whyalla. Cooking and baking in particular are a favourite hobby of mine; I love trying out new recipes and sharing food with others to find out their opinions and see their reactions. This year I am returning to work after taking the majority of last year off for maternity leave to welcome my beautiful baby girl Lila into the world. I’m excited to get back into work, seeing familiar faces, teaching students about food and the life skill that it is and now, share my firsthand knowledge of babies with my child studies class.
